Rachel is an NHS midwife and mum of three, in her spare time she creates decorative wooden wall art from her home in Holmfirth. Inspired by nature the artworks capture her love of plants and trees. Rachel sources offcuts from the furniture industry which would otherwise go to landfill.
Paper artist, Jeanette, is based in Hartshead, a village near Cleckheaton. When her god daughter wanted an alternative to fresh flowers for her wedding, Jeanette discovered kirigami. Kirigami is a variation of origami, the Japanese art of folding paper. In kirigami, the paper is cut as well as being folded, resulting in a three-dimensional form.
Jeanette’s collection at the gallery includes: single flowers, bouquets, bunches in vases, and paper potted plants.
Andrea creates her beautiful ceramics in her garden shed in a village south of Huddersfield.
Andrea’s work aims to bring a smile and to remind us that mother earth is full of wonder. She is inspired every morning by birds and nature.
Ceramist Chloe is based in Marsh, Huddersfield. She started creating kiln fired pieces after she retired to give herself focus and purpose but what is has given her most is JOY! Chloe loves the whole process of deciding what to write on the clay, the printing of the lovely letter shapes, refining, colouring and glazing. She hopes her work will say the right words to you and bring a smile to your day.
Assunta is a mixed media artist from Slaithwaite, she is obsessed with wild flowers. Assunta’s wire flower collection at the gallery includes black and coloured flowers, large and small, for vases and bud vases.
Golcar pebble artist Karen can create something truly special for any occasion. Her pebble art frames are made using pebbles, driftwood and sea glass. Both image and text can be customised to your preferences. With a choice of white, black or grey frame.

Mandy is a needle felt artist based in Marsden. After doing a wire sculpting course in 2018 she began adding different materials to wire bases and armatures. Felt was one of the materials she explored. She has been needle felting ever since. Mandy mostly makes birds because she likes birds, watching them and learning about them. Mandy says, “I just like to make stuff that hopefully makes people smile, even if they don't buy it, if it makes people smile, I think it's done its job.”
Claire is based in Leeds, she makes eco-friendly Jesmonite products for the home inspired by Scandinavian and Japandi Neutral design.
Claire’s creations are poured and mixed by hand, making each piece completely unique in its markings and patterns. The collection includes: oil/wax burners, vases, device holders, coasters, trays, tealight holders.
From her home studio in Meltham, Carole creates contemporary stained glass & fused glass art. She loves to design with freedom and spontaneity giving a vibrant energy to her work. Carole’s unique designs are also available as giclee prints and greeting cards. She is inspired by colour, music and the stunning landscape around us.
Carole is a mixed media artist based in the Holme Valley. She has a passion for sewing, nature and well-being. In today’s busy world she believes we all crave a little peace, an oasis of calm where we can truly relax. Her mindful sewing kits are inspired by the local countryside and encourage the practice of slowing down, being present in the moment and fully engaging in what we are doing. Stitching mindfully, focusing on the thread colours and rhythm of the stitches helps her to unwind and it brings her joy. She’s designed her kits so others can enjoy it too. The kits include full instructions, all materials and a detailed stitch guide.
Pat is a fibre artist based in Halifax. She has been needle felting since 2017 and loves how she can change fluffy bits of wool into just about anything. She enjoys making realistic sculptures of wildlife that can be found in and around Yorkshire and adding a bit of whimsy like her sleeping mice.
